Not how that works, unfortunately. The USB 2.0 spec requires an updated hardware PHY that can handle low-speed -> full-speed -> high-speed negotiation, which the USB 1.1 PHY in the PS2 would only be able to set up full-speed at most - this is a hardware limitation, not a software one.

Any particular reason you want to use the old 240p screen? The 3.5in 640x480 IPS screen is a great improvement and much better suited for a Wii portable. Regardless, after looking around, I don't think they sell the old TFT 320x240 screen with a driver board anymore, just the screen itself...
