    PS2 Ultra Slim

I would not be surprised if OEM adapters output close to 9V even with a load :D. I just checked the adapter I was using to test my 79K (no disc drive) setup and it's a 9V 2A lol, seemed to work OK even when playing stuff like Burnout 3. I'll have to put it on the bench supply one of these days...

    PS2 Ultra Slim

Is the standard PD 9v 3A not enough for a 79K, especially with no disc drive?

Making my own cheap and easy portable wii

You definitely don't want to use an RCA to HDMI adapter for this, since it will result in a worse picture, probably more lag, and might not work at all as some of the LVDS boards don't support 480i. Some Wii to HDMI adapters are basically the same thing as the Electron Shepherd version, but...

Yeah, it’s any input- the scaler is the part that adds lag, not the analog to digital.

It works pretty well- the only downside I’ve found is that the scaler in those boards adds 1-3 frames of lag going from 640x480 to 1024x768. Otherwise the picture is quite good IMO

Making my own cheap and easy portable wii

The iPad 2 display itself uses 3.3V (I think, might be 5V) mostly for the backlight. The LVDS interface boards like the one shown generally have a regulator that accepts like 7-12V. I'm running a Dreamcast (without the optical drive), iPad 2 display and a similar board to that picture and can...

    Discussion State-of-the-art Charge and Play?

Oh wow, yeah that's sufficient justification to bin mine then! Lack of cell balancing is a big yikes- maybe NVIDIA made it :XD:

    Discussion State-of-the-art Charge and Play?

That Anker Zolo looks pretty good- internally it is apparently using LiPo pouch batteries. @Luigid Do you remember what the issues were with that cheap CMB were, aside from very slow charging?

    Yet Another RTD2660 Quest

Would you be willing to share where you got the firmware source? Curious to see if it's worth trying to port it from Keil to SDCC.

Worklog CRTreamcast - Sega Dreamcast + iPad LCD + CRT-style Case

Hey all, I finally finished something that's been in my head for a while. I call it the CRTreamcast, and it's an original VA1 Dreamcast board, an iPad 1/2 LCD panel, and an NT68676 interface/scaler, all inside a 3D printed CRT-style case that I designed in OpenSCAD. It's obviously inspired by...

Hi, I joined because I recently completed a Dreamcast & LCD in a CRT-esque case, and want to post about it!
