Question Drill through Ground?

Can I drill through these(marked in red) plates to open up to accommodate a slightly larger screw? I have no intention on cutting the entire thing out. I just need to open the .095 of an inch ID of the hole to accommodate a .12 OD screw So opening it up to about .125. So in short opening the hole up to increase the diameter by .03 of an inch. The reason is, I have the perfect screws for my application, except that the OD of my screw is larger than the ID of the board.

I would triple check the RVK-01 Compendium first to make sure there isn't anything important on the other layers, but I very much doubt it, should be able to enlarge the holes without issue.

I'm looking at it right now, but I'm not sure I'm using it correctly. What I mean by that is, I'm not sure if I'm only seeing one layer or everything.

I would triple check the RVK-01 Compendium first to make sure there isn't anything important on the other layers, but I very much doubt it, should be able to enlarge the holes without issue.

From the image I'm looking at, it does not look like anything else runs through these locations

Yeah you should be fine doing that as long as you stay inside the gold rings. First time seeing this tool and I already love it!

Yeah this is going to be my first every portable. Making a Wii in a WiiU gamepad (name suggestions are welcome). Actually glad I found this thread because I wasn't sure of the same thing.
