Hello! This site presents portable consoles and modding consoles in general. This console here is a homemade invention, it is not a console that is developed and traded in mass. If you want to give your son a console like that, I would recommend that you get one of those 8-16 bit consoles that are sold a lot on eBay for relatively low prices.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice. I thought that was the backing of the LCD panel. Excellent use of space.
