Basically I just trimmed a Wii and it was working perfectly fine before I trimmed it I reallocated u10 and everything so I don’t know why it’s not giving a signal. Just to clarify the fan is spinning on 5v so I don’t THINK the pms is broken but the Wii’s gpu (big chip) is only a little warm whilst the cpu is hot idk what that means but please help me thanks

Zero! Micro console gang 4 life!
what exactly are you doing to get video out? if its the AV port, you nuked the filtering capacitors, so you will need to wire CVBS to it from the AVE, seeing as you also nuked some passives there.

the onboard LDO handles 1v8 (3v3 -> 1v8), so its not a huge issue here.

also, a single GND wire should be fine, as long as its not super long.

Ok I got rid of that port and added a new Av port to the composite and ground but still no output I am sure I wired composite and ground correctly

Did you check the resistance for all voltages?

Can I get a clear close up of that PMS? It looks like you might have a solder splash

I'd start by cleaning off all that burnt flux with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush

Hmm. With the poor photos, it's very hard to spot the usual defects that might cause this. You'll probably have to wait until your new multimeter arrives

The photos are very blurry so it's hard to view anything in detail unfortunately... However, did you run a wire from the U10 chip to the U10 via on the back? because on the pictures it doesn't seem like you did... (again, could just be the poor quality). If you didn't then that's a major reason why the wii wouldn't turn on.

Yes I checked it before I trimmed I just purchase 3 wiis and they worked perfectly fine before trimming just to not give any composite output, I set it to not patch vga and patch wifi, I reallocate u10 and everything worked fine, then when I trimmed it gave no composite output, I used a multimeter to check the voltage on the pms which is all correct 1v - 5v respectfully and the Wii doesn’t seem to have any wierd voltage as anywhere and it warms up its like it’s something with the output. I know it’s not the monitor as I tried that and it’s not the port because I have many Wii video ports. Not the wire to the port also I checked continuity with the composite pin to the port I literally have no clue I’m on the verge of.m just buying a Wii trim from AliExpress but I already busted a load of money on 3 wiis to no avail I have no clue what’s going on?

It's very hard to tell with those photos, really. However, the fact that you're 0/3 wiis after trimming tells me you're clearly missing something or not following the steps correctly. Did you check the resistances of all the voltage lines to ground and each other before soldering anything? you mentioned on a post that your multimeter broke, did you manage to get a new one? If not, I'm not sure how you plan to pull this off without a multimeter... We could help you troubleshoot but if you're not able to give concrete answers like "there's a bridge here" or "my resistances from 3v3 to ground are this or that" etc it's going to be impossible to determine what's going on. Specially without detailed photos.

Before spending money on the aliexpress roulette for a (hopefully) working trim, try tofigure out a way to take better picutes.

EDIT: just to check, you did install RVLoader and patched out bluetooth and wifi before trimming, right?

I said in the long paragraph (sorry for the ramble) that yes I got a multimeter checked everything and got rv loader and patched wifi and did not enable vga as I don’t want vga in my portable tbh

[Mod Edit: Double post merged. Please do not double post! -Y2K]

Just to be clear I am 97% sure there are no bridges anywhere I think I may be wiring something wrong to the pms hopefully tommorow I will get better pictures thankyou for your help!

You gotta be 100% sure there's no bridges, 97% is not enough. Check Nold's resistances guide and compare with your's. Remove all cables soldered to the wii and check resistances following the chart. Also check for redundant components on the edges of the board that might be partially broken after trimming (except the capacitor next to the nand, of course).
