Screen running on 5v help

Hello I have the eyoyo 5 inch display and I have checked to see if it runs on 5v through the USB connector. With this being said would it be possible to remove these pieces outlined in red or is there a way for me to check on which components I can remove if running off of the usb power line.

Hey, I have the same board, and I successfully ran it in this configuration, so you can look at which components I have removed
I have also labeled where you can input 5v (Red) and ground (Black). There is a lot of places where you can supply ground, just use a multimeter and check that there is 0 resistance between the places I have labeled in black and where you want to supply ground if you are unsure.

I have also labeled component signal input, I have not tested vga, but I assume it works fine, and you can find the pinout for standard vga online

So glad you solved the problem, I have a 7" screen that normally uses 12v power but could be changed to 5v, I can see a resistor from the back that needs to be soldered.

Just got around to thinning out this board. Thanks for the guide. It worked flawlessly.
