Problem found: ground was shorted to 1.8V, as I thought the problem was under the RAM aind it happened because i tried to reflow it a second time and I moved it too much with the tweezers.:'(

I’ve trimmed a Wii motherboard and it worked fine

It's an instrument used to read voltages, resistances and other stuff on circuit boards, and also to check the shorts

It's a pretty brutal way to trim a Wii, but I admit that I've tried it once and it worked. You can try it of course but remember that you're doing it at your own risk. I suggest to sand the edges in any case, in order to avoid any kind of short, also try to check the trim with a multimeter

My mode pin is not shorted to 3.3v. I don't know if this is the problem

I test every trim before transplanting parts on my pcb. VGA patches are enabled but right now I'm testing the board via AV cable which is connected on the top right side of the pcb

So something happened but i’m stuck to a point where the wii seems to turn on but the screen just turns black. Any advice would be great. For now I’m just going to check the connections of the components.
