My project for this contest is a Gamecube controller that the Nintendo Switch tablet can slide into. I'll use one of those cheaper GC controller to Switch adapters, remove and trim it as much as I can, and connect it all internally so that is just docks into place via the USB-c port on the bottom. 3D printing this whole thing would be dope, but I lack the skills necessary to replicate those sexy handles. So may resort to frankencasing (my first time) a controller shell and a 3D printed part together. Will probably use a GC+.
Rumble motors in the handles.
Pipe dreaming ideas: additional USB-c port so it can charge while connected. Extra battery for prolonged playtime.
Although not a pretty picture, it's remarkably close to scale.
