This will be my 4th Wii portable that I have created.
This time I decide to use a Switch pro controller as the housing for my portable Wii. It is very comfortable to hold because of its full-size grip. Larger A, B, X, and Y buttons and D-pad keys provide more functional space. This Wii uses parts from the 4Layer store for charging. I am surprised no one else has decided to use one of these switch controller cases. They are very convenient for modding, and the controller motherboard has all the buttons labeled. This unit has a 7" screen on it. 3D printed board and battery holder. This unit is not pretty, but my 2.0 unit will look much better. I plan to make a PS2 unit with one of these Switch pro controllers.

That's awesome! I love how you showed some of your design process, 3d printed supports, and more.

How did you go about wiring up the controller boards? I'm quite curious.

I just wired up a GC+2 with no problem. Once you open the controller, there are pinout labels for each button and analog sticks. Its like it was meant to be for a Wii portable. How crazy, lol.

I can't wait to see what you guys can do with one of those Nintendo Switch controller cases.
