Although there is a guide on how to do this, I am not knowledgeable enough for solving that problem on my own with other specific boards of interest. This screen is unrelated to any portable Wii projects, as its resolution is unsupported, but I figured that this would be the best place to ask my niche question. The board in question may either be one of the following:

I am sorry that this question is very broad, but I do ask for your help on how to achieve the lowest power consumption and keep at 5V?

Did you try to use 5v directly at the barrel? Some support that.

1ish.
how exactly would I do this? sorry just a bit inexperienced.
Plug in a 5V power source at the barrel jack.

If that doesn't work, There'll probably be a voltage regulator somewhere. you'd have to look at the ICs on the board, view their datasheet, and verify the output voltage and input. From my board, I found that this IC is a voltage regulator that outputs 5 volts. After removing the IC, I wired the output to the red wire and got it to work off 5 volts.

One of the circled linear regulators will output 5v (the bottom left one is hidden under the capacitor)

If you carefully probe the legs with a multimeter (while the board is powered) you can identify which one outputs 5v, lift the output leg (or remove the entire reg) and supply 5v there. Basically all driver boards can be 5v modded as they almost universally step down 12v input to 5v, and then step the 5v down to whatever voltage individual components require
