Hello everyone, I am here to list my currently unfinished Ashida. Last summer I successfully got it up and running and it was working great until I decided to upgrade to the RVL-DD (image quality on that thing is fantastic btw, shoutout to Aurelio) and I botched the install. The issues it is currently having are nonfunctional i2c communication and what I assume is an AVE short somewhere because the screen keeps flickering in and out. I have spent close to 40hrs troubleshooting and working on it but I regret to say that at the moment, I do not have the time or money to keep working on it at this moment in my l so I am listing it here to see if anyone wants it to try to fix and/or resell. Below is the list of components that come with it:
•All the digikey components from the Ashida BOM are in working condition,
•The wii has a successful MX chip and BT relocation
•All required 4layer boards are in excellent working order, will ship with 2 functional RVL-DDs and Ashida Flex cables (PMS2, RVL-AMP, PD2, GC+ 2.0, Ashida PCB bundle)
•New 5in 480p screen and blue driver board (currently installed for what I think is ease of troubleshooting)
•White Resin printed shell from PCB way in excellent condition
•Samsung batteries that were recommended in the BOM
•OEM gamecube controller parts
•Kingston microSD adapter with 128gb microSD
I would absolutely love to get $450-$500 for it but I 100% can be talked lower. I can be reached through a DM here or through discord @pezblast
Love this project and the community. I can also send over everything I did to assist with troubleshooting if need be and I also have a worklog here
