I just tested my recently trimmed CPU-40 board with my multimeter and all the readings seem ok except for any involving 3.3V where the reading jumps all over the place. I noticed a little spot where the Dremel jumped just below U7 which seems to be right above one of the 3.3V traces. I am thinking it could have short here, but I don't know if I should cut some of that section out or if that even is the problem. The only other thing I noticed is that when the LDO was removed one of the contacts pealed off with it.

What do you mean "the reading jumps all over the place?" - can you provide a picture of your multimeter and how you have it set up?

ok, so I have tried 2 different multimeters now and both will start at seemingly random numbers and over about 30 seconds they slowly go to 16k. Edit:
It didn't seem to be an issue, the board booted.
