Apparently you can't get to the Wii menu unless you revert to an older version of the loader which I've been advised isn't advisable as there's been many bug fixes since. This to me is the main bugbear. You can't get to the menu and although I've been provided with a wad of the Mii channel it doesn't work with my set up even when I map to GC controller. So mii's and the Wii menu are not functional.

hi. Sorry I think you misunderstood me. I don't have a BT module to sync Wii remotes anyway. The only controls I have are GC controls. Synchronisation of Wii remotes isn't important to me on a portable. However been able to access the Mii channel in Wii menu would be good. Someone sent me the Mii channel as a wad but it's useless as you can only use a Wii remote in the Mii channel.. I tried mapping it with GC controls but it doesn't work. Unless the dev gets the Wii menu back theres not much you can do to be honest. If it's needed to sync your Wii controllees then your a bit stuck..The latest version has brought back quite a few issues for me. Loading is very quick but some games don't work at all or have video issues..I'm sure the dev will fix them in time so we'll have to patient.

Hi wiihackers!

Settled on RVLoader as the solution to play Wii games with GC controller.

RVLoader is installed but the games are not showing up, neither GC nor Wii games. I've tripled checked the correct file structure etc.

It's a 64gb USB plugged into the correct port, formatted FAT32.

Before I reformat the USB stick, what else can I try?

thanks!!

Is there an SD card connected? Can you provide a screenshot of your file structure just in case?

It's not hardware related. If it was usb related it wouldn't work on 1.6. It works on 1.6. It's absolutely a change in code. Ive used smaller cards, different brands. Makes no difference. 1.6 works 2.0 doesn't work. A comparison on the code is what's required
Also a green screen on Klonoa, it seemed to work before, maybe it's a matter of resolution settings or something...

Version 2.0 was very good for me, mainly due to the MX patch, which helped some games that didn't work in the previous version to work in the current one, especially some Virtual Console games. I only had a problem where the GC2Wiiremote wasn't working in the game Donkey Kong Country Returns, but I pressed B to open the settings, then went to "Padmode", and left it on "Bypass" and the problem was solved. Great work, Aurélio! Thank you very much for the new version!

You must be lucky as about 50% of my Wii games now don't work. They used to. Whilst I appreciate the time and effort the dev has gone to I'd sooner have higher compatibility and access to the Wii menu than faster loading and cheats. I'm grateful for the loader but personally think it's taken the wrong path. I'd aim for 95% compatibility and then work on the extras.

At least all the Wii games I tried ran without problems. The game Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, which didn't work in previous versions, worked perfectly in the new one, which left me quite satisfied. I have no problems so far.

Several of our members have upgraded to RVLoader 2.0 and are not showing a decrease in compatibility with Wii software. This to me seems like a problem that you're having specifically, rather than a problem with RVLoader itself. Care to share your setup & any other details that may help others reproduce your issue, so that you may hopefully figure out a resolution?

Please use English, it's a rule on the forums as it's the main language everyone can read here. Glad to hear you're able to play all your games!

Sorry, it was my mistake. I used Google translate to respond and ended up copying the Portuguese text instead of copying the English text. I already edited it.

Hi, Im having some controller issues. Im at the start of finally building my G-Wii Rev2 and am still pretty new to everything electrical. I did the software part of the modding a few months back and since then my wii controllers have been synced with other wiis. I do not own a Gamecube controller atm. I have all the wireless modules still on the board (it has not been cut yet) but cant seem to get them synced. Every time I turn on my wii, it shows the quick RVLoader Bootloader screen and then goes to a menu where I can choose between BBLoader, RVloader, and Nintendont. if I unplug my sd card USB dongle, then Im just stuck in the screen where it says "press A to continue to Priiloader" in both instances, it seems, I cannot pair the wiimote. I have tried the method of holding down the reset button as it boots to get into priiloader but that doesn't seem to work for me for whatever reason
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hold reset while booting to boot into priiloader. Wait abut 15 seconds and press reset again, it will boot into the system menu. Sync your wiimote there

That's the strange thing, holding reset doesn't put it into priiloader both when the USB drive is in and out

It goes straight into rvloader

Just to be sure, you are holding the reset button before pressing the power button and for a couple of seconds afterwards, yes?

Yes, reset button held, and then the power button is pressed while it is still held, and yet it boots like normal into rvloader. Sorry for my weird edge case, I tend to be a magnet for those.

sorry I forgot to quote reply you. I will be getting my gc+ in a few days so it's not a huge issue if I can't get this working with wiimote its not a huge deal. I know that rvloader is installed and it worked at least a few months ago I just wanted to double make sure before I take the blade to the wii
Either way thank you guys for the help

It's certainly odd. When your GC+ arrives, it might be worth going into the system menu settings and checking what firmware you're on. If it's on 4.3 like it should be, then the Wii might just have some fucky custom IOS modules from a previous owner that are messing with it?
